Come join us in celebrating the release of our fourth full-length album as Collective Efforts!

“Freezing World” is out on the 16th of February, and we will be at Smith’s Olde Bar the following Friday with guests Dillon, J-Live and DJ Synthesis on the tables.

The plan is to blow your minds with dope new music from the crew, incredible features and guests, and a CE show like you’ve never seen before, complete with the new CE Live line-up, which consists of:

Richard Jones on drums and percussion, Matthew Weiss on guitar, Alfredo Lapuz, Jr. on keys, and the newest addition to the crew, Jim Coley on bass guitar. As usual, the super-talented Claire Kaye will be there to back us up on the vocals and the homie Synt will help out with some cuts where needed. We are excited about the show, and the new record, and we hope to see you all out to support your fam. Oh, and we will have hoodies and shirts with the new album theme! Check out Collective Efforts in the lab putting in work on the latest single. Filmed at the CE Estate, arranged and edited by CE guitarist Matthew Weiss, it gives you a peek into the creative process involved in the making of a Collective Efforts track. From production techniques on the MPC to writing and recording verses, it ends up being a new adventure every time. Your boy Hameen lays the groundwork for each MC to do their thing, and young Dillon shines and adds a little comic relief in the studio (and the kitchen). We are proud to announce that “Freezing World” featuring Dillon is now available for purchase. Produced by yours truly, this track was selected as the title for the new album, and gives a good sense of the theme that is present throughout. Don’t forget, the full length is out in two weeks!
